The ceremony will be outdoors (weather permitting) at the same venue as the reception.
What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
We recommend that you arrive at least 20-30 minutes before our 3pm ceremony time. this gives you enough time to be on schedule. If you are late and the wedding has started, we ask that you stand in the back until the ceremony is finished and then join us at cocktail hour.
What should I wear?
We would love to see our family and friends dress up with us! We are requesting formal or black tie optional attire, but we want you to be comfortable so please come in what you feel best in! We do ask for the ladies to try to not wear black since that is the color the bridesmaids will be wearing.
Is it okay to take pictures during the ceremony?
We are having an unplugged ceremony. we hired two amazing photographers to capture all the special moments. However your more than welcome to bring out your cameras and phones during cocktail hour and the reception!
Is it an open bar or a cash bar?
We want everyone to have a great time and party with us as we celebrate our love! We will be providing beer, wine, and our signature cocktails. Anything else will need to be paid for at the bar. They accept cash and card!
What should I do about driving?
We do not want anyone drinking and driving, so we will be providing a shuttle service that takes you to and from the neighboring towns. Dorrington is a very small town in the mountain, so there isn't any ride sharing services. Please be mindful about this and try to have a designated driver.
Transportation?
Very sadly our transportation company canceled on us very last minute. We are working on trying to find a replacement, but with the short notice don't know if that will be possible. For now there are limited Ubers in the area, and you can leave your cars parked over night at the venue. We ask that everyone plans ahead and has a safe way of getting home.
Are children allowed?
If you know Alex you know children are of course invited. We will have an event childcare company on site to have nannies and activities for the younger children. If you intend to bring your children please reach out to us, so we can plan accordingly. However we totally understand if you want to use our wedding as a night away from the kids as well!
